from recognition to opportunity: Infinity Infusion Solutions Celebrates Women Leaders and Invests in WOMEN IN MEDICINE®
Women in Medicine® is proud to partner with Infinity Infusion Solutions (IIS), a women-owned and women-led healthcare organization committed to strengthening independent infusion providers and advancing patient access to high-quality care.
During the Women in Medicine® Summit in Chicago, Infinity Infusion Solutions celebrated its 11th anniversary by making an $11,000 gift to Women in Medicine® in support of the WIM Fellowship and its inaugural cohort of 15 women physician and healthcare leaders.
The gift is part of IIS’s Women Leading Infusion Care campaign, an initiative recognizing nine women from its member network whose leadership, expertise, and commitment are helping shape the future of community-based infusion care.
Founded in 2015 by Tamra Townsend and Katie Ivy, IIS has grown from the vision of two women into a national organization supporting more than 2,700 member infusion sites across all 50 states. The Women Leading Infusion Care campaign reflects that history while shining a light on the many women who are leading, innovating, and creating change across healthcare.
From Recognition to Opportunity
For WIM, what makes this partnership especially meaningful is that IIS is taking its celebration of women leaders one step further: from recognition to investment.
The $11,000 contribution will help support CME costs for the inaugural WIM Fellowship cohort, expanding access to a high-engagement leadership experience designed to help women physician and healthcare leaders navigate an important inflection point in their careers.
The WIM Fellowship goes beyond traditional professional development. It creates space for women to build the visibility, relationships, systems-thinking skills, and sponsorship that can shape what comes next in their careers.
As Dr. Shikha Jain, Founder of Women in Medicine®, shared, “Together, we are expanding access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities that strengthen women’s independence and professional autonomy, giving them greater power to shape their futures.”
