WIM is a mission-driven organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in healthcare. We take a multifaceted approach to empower leaders to change the system, regardless of gender. WIM offers many initiatives and novel opportunities that predominantly fall under five pillars:
Thought Leadership: The WIM Speakers Bureau and WIM Research Lab have both elevated many faculty and students to the national stage.
Allyship: WIM developed the 1st of its kind inclusive leadership development course and other allyship leadership training to provide male leaders in healthcare with toolkits and skills on becoming more inclusive leaders and allies.
Formal Mentorship and Sponsorship programs to support the next generation of leaders in healthcare
Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, such as our longitudinal leadership development programs offered throughout the year
Community and Network Building: The networks built through our organization have led to countless women collaborating and being given new opportunities across the globe.
