Eligibility

Physicians (MD, DO, or international equivalent with an active medical license or NPI): Join as a WIMbassador or level up as a Thought Leader.

All other healthcare professionals like nurses, APPs, administrators, educators, researchers, social workers, industry partners, and community advocates: Join as a Healthcare Ally and be part of the national movement to change who leads medicine and how.

The Next Gen / WIMentorship program is designed for students and trainees who want to enter the physician and healthcare workforce already connected, networked, and oriented toward systems-level leadership. Student Ambassadors gain direct access to national leaders and build the kind of CV that opens doors before they graduate.

Ready for a deeper commitment? The WIM Fellowship is a selective, one-year leadership experience open to early and mid-career women across healthcare — physicians, nurses, APPs, administrators, and more. Fellows build strategic networks, develop executive presence, and gain the visibility and sponsorship that translate readiness into real opportunity.

Ready to lead at the systems level? WIMbassadors who are advancing in their careers are invited to consider partner programs like the Carol Emmott Foundation or Women of Impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. Being a WIMbassador is an annual contribution, not dues, and a portion is tax deductible. WIMbassadors and Thought Leaders each receive a $50 deductible amount; Allies are fully deductible.

  • Your investment directly funds the infrastructure that makes your membership valuable: the WIMbassador network platform, digital leadership and learning resources, and the programming, recognition, and national opportunities that build your visibility and credentials. As a 501(c)(3), WIM reinvests every dollar into expanding what's available to members. Early participation shapes how robust those benefits become — the stronger our numbers, the more we can build.

  • Yes. The WIMbassador program has always welcomed Allied Healthcare members, and we are actively expanding how we serve the full healthcare ecosystem. Administrators, nurses, APPs, educators, researchers, industry partners, and community advocates are essential to the systems change we're building. There is a path here for you.
