#Istandwithher Awards and honorees

Every year, the #IStandWithHer Awards honor physicians and initiatives dedicated to furthering the impact of women in medicine. Award categories include Resilience, Trailblazer, Allyship, and Visionary Awards for physicians, and the Architects for Change Award for an organization, program, or initiative making a measurable impact on women's health, access to care, or the advancement of women in medical careers.

Resilience Award: (Physician who has overcome barriers)
Recognizes a physician who has faced significant hurdles and persevered. It is meant to honor individuals with extraordinary strength, grit, tenacity, and grace in the setting of difficult circumstances.

Trailblazer Award: (Early career physician who has championed women)
Recognizes a physician in their first 10 years after completing training who has made significant contributions to advancing the careers of women physicians. It is meant to honor those who lift others up, break down barriers, and pave the way for future generations.

Allyship Award: (Physician who partners with and uplifts women)
Recognizes an individual whose unwavering support, advocacy, and actions have empowered women to lead, thrive, and drive lasting change in healthcare and beyond.

Visionary Award: (Established physician who has championed women)
Recognizes a physician who has been out of training for at least 10 years and has made significant contributions to advancing the careers of women physicians.  It is meant to honor those who lift others up, break down barriers, and pave the way for future generations.

 Architects for Change Award (Women's health and leadership initiatives)
Recognizes an organization, program, or initiative making a measurable impact on women's health, access to care, or the advancement of women in medical careers.  It is meant to recognize creative, sustainable solutions to the barriers that prevent a better future for women everywhere.
